The digital factory has developed two demonstration models: “featuring flexible manufacturing for intelligent production of power distribution equipment” and “featuring full life-cycle management for remote operation and maintenance support of power distribution equipment”. It has been recognized as a National MIIT Outstanding Smart Factory, a National Green Factory, and a National MIIT Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Factory.

The Nanjing production base in Jiangsu Province serves as Baiyun Power Group's East China headquarters. Originating from one of China's oldest HV electro-porcelain factories, it stands as the birthplace of China's tempered glass insulators, capacitor bushings, and spark plugs. Specializing in insulators and high-voltage capacitor bushings for power transmission and transformation projects, the base offers complete voltage class coverage. Its flagship products have been widely adopted by major domestic and international projects, maintaining industry-leading sales volume for consecutive years while being exported to over 100 countries and regions worldwide.

Originally a state-owned enterprise directly administered by the former Ministry of Machinery Industry, this base has been China's specialized production and scientific research base for power capacitors and complete equipment systems. Its product portfolio comprises six major categories: power capacitors and complete sets; capacitor voltage transformers (CVTs); metallized film capacitors; reactors; special-purpose capacitors; and flexible reactive power compensation with intelligent voltage quality governance – encompassing 49 series with over 10,000 specifications.

Specializing in R&D, production, and sales of high/medium/low voltage electric wires & cables, and control cables. Housing an internationally standardized large-scale cable workshop equipped with domestically advanced manufacturing and testing equipment, it ranks among South China's most technologically advanced modern wire and cable production bases.

Dedicated to technological research and product development in advanced power electronics and integrated energy solutions, this initiative focuses on R&D and manufacturing of core products including module-level battery controllers, energy storage converters (PCS), integrated energy storage systems, power electronic transformers, and intelligent management cloud platforms. It delivers innovative solutions for generation-grid-side applications, commercial & industrial energy storage, EV ultra-fast charging systems, data center power supply systems, and flexible AC/DC distribution systems – characterized by operational safety, cost-effectiveness, streamlined efficiency, adaptive connectivity, and digital intelligence enablement – contributing to the development of new generation power systems.

Core product encompass three major series: Flexible HVDC Transmission Integrated Systems (HVDC Smart), Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), and High-Power Converters (MaxiVert), with products and integrated solutions extensively deployed in power transmission/distribution networks and strategic clean energy sectors.
